My Heart is in my Garden

As you may or may not know, my 50th Birthday is tomorrow, and my hubby gave me money to spend on art supplies...so I have a lot of new goodies to play with.

I made this heart from scratch...Stamping, masking, embossing, glimmer misting ( I am now making my own  with magical micas), rub and buff. Layered the matching  paper used in the card, sprayed my lace to match the heart...

This is an envelope for the card below...

Oh yes, I took this picture in my garden because my beautiful Hemerocallis matched so well with the heart

Birthdays are certainly a beautiful time when us crafters can get new supplies to create with.
I love that you make your own mists - so do I!!!
The outside was so gorgeous but what a surprise to see what is revealed to us, now did I expect that, no I did not.
Also such a lovely way to photograph your art, amongst the glory of nature.
Wishes (I will be in contact tomorrow :)

  3. What I love most about your projects is your amazing use of colors. Soft pastels, combined with brights and almost "classic" colors. And the result is always a reason to sit and stare. But above that; to enjoy. Your cards/projects always turn out amazing; this card and envelope too. Wonderful job; stunning result. Love it!
    Love and hugs,
