Les Grands Crues...

Hello there, I found this image in one of those fancy wine magazines; I mounted it on this really cool paper that looks and feels like cork, and has gold speckles....

Then I used a corner punch ,  my double loop punch for the side, glazed it,  weaved in some ribbon, a few old buttons, and Voila....A nice simple masculine card...

Check out this poppy from my garden that is just starting to open...it looks just like crinkled paper....so cool....you'll have to bear with me this summer with my flower pictures...LOL...I am an avid plant lover...

Have a great week-end everyone....love G.

Having fun lately with my crackle paint...I  applied the cage so it is 3 D...

Vintage Fashion...

is the challenge over at the Sugar Creek Hollow ....I am entering this week to support my blogging friend
Heather,  from My artistic Adventures, who  is now on the DT...Woohoo!!!

And over at the Artful Times Challenge it is ribbon and lace...

I saw a lot of female fashion as examples, all gorgeous, but with Father's Day coming up, and with a certain image in mind I went for a masculine card. When  I saw this image from June at the Olde Curiosity Shop, I knew right away I wanted to use him; doesn't he look devilish with a twinkle in his eyes....

Ripped the sides, inked, rippled; made a frame with MS triple loop punch, sprayed with coffee shop and aquamarine,  applied scraps of vintage fabric, lace and buttons.

applied to paper, then fabric. Made a watch with a Prima chipboard and a belt buckle

added a ribbon and some beads to the side....

I am really happy with the outcome.....

Thanks for peeking and why don't you come join the challenges !!! Hugs G.

And my altered chipboard butterfly on which I used paint, ink, glimmer mist, crackle paint and embossing

This is the body; isn't that cool ?

And the inside using the BF as a screen to glimmer mist....

Thanks for peeking....xoxooxo

Golden Rays

Hello, my hubby gave me this pendant for my Birthday last year; using a piece of papier maché  I played around with  acrylic paints, the glimmer family ( mist, glam and glaze) and some gold embossing.

Hope you have a great week...

It's Tea Time My Friend....

How is everyone today ? I am playing over at The Shabby Tea Room  with this card for a friend...

This is the beautiful inspirational photo  and Fran asks that we create a card or project inspired by the colors in the photo and include a rose!

I was inspired by the Shabby looking flowers and used some Prima paper for my    background, which I embossed  in white and in clear...

The pitcher and the books had more of a vintage feel to them so after deciding on the lace , I inked my teapot in several colors,  used a mask for the flowers, embossed in clear, applied some TH crackle paint in some areas, then inked again....I am SO happy with the outcome....

The book is represented in my base paper and my doily was glimmer misted ...

Thank you so much for visiting ....have a great week everyone !!!

Dream Roses Wall Hanging....

This is a wall hanging going above my bed so my dreams are filled with roses....

The Stampman challenge this week is to use your favourite technique...I love embossing, which I have done on this hanging, but at the moment, my fav , even though I have only done it once before, is to make a base of gesso and baking soda and stamp into it.....Here is a great tut ....I am not completely happy with the outcome of this hanging, but I did challenge myself  LOL...I used  acrylics, glimmer glam, embossing and rub and buff....

A stamped swirl above, stamped music and text below...and various stamping in other areas....

And at City Crafter , the challenge is to use Text and Tulle....I made my shabby flowers using tulle and scraps of lace...and there is text on that gorgeous PP butterfly garden paper....as well as in my stamping...

Have a fabulous week-end my lovelies, Hugs G.
