"Sarah's Sunshine" Card...

Morning all, hope you are well on this mid-week day...My niece asked me to make a card for her girlfriend which she described as always positive and smiling, supportive, and loves sports, I came out with this card.

I love making easel cards because the card can stand upright for a long time.

The two main papers used are Bo Bunny Gypsy Henna and K and Co. I crimped my paper and added twine for the side; cut wings out of Bo Bunny Love Shack Party , crimped them and inked the edges.

I embossed the greeting with Stampendous Jeweled Gold on a Prima chipboard.

I did the same on the edges of the card.

I used a Basic Grey brad, and beads from my stash ( using beads on my cards is one of my favorite things ! ); glimmer misted the whole card with Tattered Angels Iredescent gold; finished it off with some feathers at the base....Bright, cheery, glittery and solid....just like her friend...

  1. Oh my; this is gorgeous. Love the warm colors; you picked the perfect papers and pearls/buttons/brads. And created a fabulous card!

  2. just gorgeous, i love the feathers! :)

  3. A Super Snooks Special! This is such a lovely card. I especially adore the beading and the feathers. So creative and totally unique!

Oh, how I love your comments...
