Earth Tone Colors Challenge at Bella Creations

Morning, another challenge over at Bella Creations is to use Earth tones on an altered project.  Since I had all those lovely inks and sprays out from my previous piece, I decided to make a gift package and made this small wall hanging....

My favorite seasons in the garden are spring and fall...Fall, for many reasons, and one of them being the magic foliage offers us....So in honor of foliage, I made this....

I kept it very simple, I really wanted the focus to be on the foliage....So I used the same colors and papers as my previous post, with  lots of distressing....

SO hard to photograph shiny embossing !!! I used Lindy's Stamp Gang two tone embossing powder in
Desert Moon Turquoise. I just got this last month and am in LOVE with it...I wish you could see the two tone effect as you shimmer it from side to side....To create this foliage, I stamped (Magenta stamp) heavily for the bottom part, then used the same stamp and embossed on top, but this time more lightly...

Thanks for stopping by...xoxooxox

  1. Gisele I have to :) when you say you kept this simple. Simple in your world but to me this is anything but simple. What a glorious piece of art to honour the colours of Autumn.
Bella! Bella! is what I say.

  4. Hi Gisele
I came to leave another comment for this hanging as I knew I'd left a comment (all in e-mail) and yes, I have, I was the first to comment.
    Still love this.
