Jen, from Only love is real for being among the top 3 on CR84FN with her beautiful creation; we all do what we do because we love to create and express ourselves, but it is always nice to receive validation that our work is appreciated by others.
I am entering my card into The Shabby Tea Room challenge, because THIS was the gorgeous inspirational photo...
I will also add this to Pink Saturday..
I mean, come on, how can I resist? Understated elegance, soft, feminine and romantic is how I would describe this cake (and of course, Yummy !), and this is my interpretation of those adjectives:
I cut my bodice out of my all time favorite paper Pink Paislee Butterfly garden, laced her up, egdged her with Inka-Gold, make a flower, misted it with glimmer mist, and added two gold buttons with a chain.
I made the fan out of this beautiful paper my brother gave me, added lace to the edge, made a few rosettes out of the same paper, added a Pink Paislee ephemera, Graphic 45 for the butterfly and Romantique, gold leaves, lace, rossettes and nested it on some ruffled up lace.
You know how designers often decorate the back of their garments now, well, I did the same to my little creation; more ruffles, inka-gold colored rosette, material as the background, and a bit of glimmer mist using a screen...
Et Voila!! Hope you enjoyed, see you next week !!!
