Hello, Does your art change with the seasons ? Iv'e been finding myself using a lot of butterflies and birds lately.
I felt like making a monochromatic card, so I sprayed the butterfly, my border ( which is a vintage tablecloth that my MIL gave me....don't worry, she knows I am cutting into it LOL ), and my paper with Coffee Shop and Aquamarine glimmer mists.
I altered my flower with mica powders.
Stamped and embossed the corners, as well as the butterflies and scrolls on the inside...
I am entering my card into the following challenges...
Unruly Paper Arts, Theme is spring; butterflies are one of my favorite insects...
Out of a Hat Creations, If I had Wings is the theme; I cant think of a nicer way to spend your days than fleeting from flower to flower...
Inspired by Stamping, Crochet trim or lace and this inspirational photo
(all my lace started this color, but of course I had to alter it !)
Thanks for looking, and Happy June !

I can see you were highly inspired by that photo! You get my vote for being "Green" by recycling bits of that vintage tablecloth. YOu've now got one-of-a-kind crochet trim! All the subtle colors are lovely, too.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for joining us at Inspired by Stamping Inspiration Challenge!
Your card is beautiful! I love your use of the feather, but I doubt I would have the nerve to cut a vintage tablecloth, although it does make a pretty border! Your colors are just lovely.
