For our challenge this month, we would like you to be
inspired by the colours
in this gorgeous dinning room
Along with including
Paint and Flowers
Now, unlike others I know (wink, wink), I don't always have a story in my head when I create. This time I did...my base consists of crepe paper, acrylic white paint used as a wash, patterned paper ( to represent the wallpaper), and some clear embossed paper for a glossier look...more paint, more crepe paper....you get the idea...the paper is ripped , wrinkled...everything left shabby, just as you would find in an old house...
Chandelier image and rolled roses...
Nothing represents home more than a child and her kittie; I made the frame with inks, acrylic paint, scratching the paint, then adding more...This darling is from Crafty Individuals...
This is the back, I added a stretchy lace so hidden treasures may be stashed back there....do we not always find these in an old home?
And the rest is all those Shabbilicious elements we love; roses, lace, beads, buttons, pearls ...
Thanks for peeking....Have a shabbilicious afternoon...xoxoxo
Sublime my dear friend.
ReplyDeleteWhen I view art such as this it touches my heart. I know that sounds insincere but it is said with sincerity. It brings you to a gentle place in your mind.
The wink wink, I wonder who that might be intended for ROFL.
Have a wonderful evening.
I have a date with some Christmas images. Yes, you did hear me groan LOL.
