This is a Magenta stamp, also stamped on fabric, which is distressed with some TH inks, and coloured in with the micas ( can't get the shine of the micas to come through on my pics ); fringed edges, held down with a stick pin, coloured my lace with the Butterscotch spray...

Great work! Valerie
ReplyDeleteNot only do I love this piece because of its beauty I love the use of the rice bag which is such a fabulous base.
ReplyDeleteSo much to take in that I need to take another peek and another.
The colours are vivid but at the same time they are not brash there is an aged beauty to them.
Quite fabulous my friend.

What I love about this amazing creation that it all started with a simple thing such s a rice bag. And I am wondering again; what inspired you to start with a rice bag and turn it into a jewel? I love every piece and bit of it but that butterfly took my breath away. I am drooling!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend!
Love and hugs,
Stella
