So, my first reaction was that I wanted something soft to the touch on my card; then the nest made me think of feathers. So I took these out, ripped a piece of striped fabric, made a stickpin, added glitter to paper using a mask, bit of bling, and this cool crackled button...
and feathers made me think of fashion. So I took out my Webster's ladies and gave them some jewels. Frayed some cotton, and deposited them on it.
Then I thought I wanted to duplicate the layers of protection surrounding the eggs, so I made a frame using various layers of different materials, and some buttons...
And this is the finished card...and the inside ( feathers, fabric, bling and frame elements repeated).
Salut, et à la prochaine....xoxoxo
Oh this couldn't be more fabulous, I adore this creation ... perfection my friend.
ReplyDeleteI am sitting here catching up with comments left for me to read and I have to tell you, I am so lucky to have found a Blog friend such as yourself. When I make a card, tag, mixed media, whatever it may be I never anticipate for one second that it will have an impact on a visitor to my Blog. Your words have warmed my heart and you will never know just how important your words are to me and how timely your words are. Thank You not only for your new found friendship but your incredible support.
I will send a little something in the mail next week. Not too organised this week LOL.
