"Butterfly Bouquet" Card

Hi , my sister in-law asked me to make a pretty and simple congratulation card for her sister.

I am feeling kind of depressed because I was nervous making the card, and did not really enjoy the process.
I was feeling intimidated by the fact that my sister-in-law is a true artist; even though I was telling myself that if she asked ME to make a card, then she wants something Gisèle like...but I could not shake off the feeling..So I am kind of bummed out...

I am linking to Wee Memories who ask us to use the inspiration on Etsy, Pinerest etc...I saw this on Moxie; two of my favorite things; wedding bouquets and butterflies....

I used stickers and inked and glimmer misted on a piece of fabric, frayed the edges..same for the inside, but on paper....somehow it photographed kind of weird, believe me, it looks better in real life...

"Quick and easy" Cards

These are simple, quick, inexpensive little cards I make to sell in a friend's boutique....I made them kind of masculine for father's Day...

"Times 3" card

Oh my fellow bloggers, how I missed leaving you all some love today...

I vowed that I would  do more stamping this year, so when I saw this challenge over at Wee Memories, I did not hesitate to join. I don't have any Market Street Stamps, so I used The Girl's Paperie Paper Girl clock.

I had a great time making this card; I recycled some corrugated paper, added some inka-gold, glimmer glaze and  ink to it...

I stamped, embossed, inked and glimmer misted the clocks. I used  my crimper on black cardstock and tore the edges, fringed a piece of cotton and inked it, added a charm and some brads.

Added a K and Co. key. and rubban.

For the inside, I used the resist technique on the same clock, inked and glimmer misted...distressed and inked the edges....

What did we ever do before glimmer mist ???Oh, how I love thy shimmer !!!

I always like my envelope to give a soupçon of what is coming...

The set together...Hope you enjoyed...xoxoxo

"How-to Videos" On Stampington.com

this is a good compilation of how to -videos.... I love learning new techniques !!!

"A Peak into my Boudoir"

Allo, I am entering my card into the City- Crafter Challenge to use polka dots and stripes, and this is the photo; isn't that precious ? I will also link to Pink Saturday...

It's  funny , I love crafting with pink, but I have no pink at all in my home or wardrobe. Are you guys like that?
So I humbly present to you :" A peak into my Boudoir" card...

I heat embossed, for the first time ever,  my dress form and stand on fabric ; the imprint turned out really well.
A bit hard to photograph due to the glare...

I had a lot of polka dots, but not a lot of stripes, so I used my striped fabrics to make the rose, etc.

The mirror, I stamped, distressed and glittered

See ya next week: I have to clean out my art room before I can make something else....xoxoxoxo

"Feathers in fashion" Card

Hi all, I am participating once again in "The Shabby Tea Room" Challenge" because I found the inspirational photo irresistible...Isn't that so precious......And they ask that we make a monochromatic creation.

So, my first reaction was that I wanted something soft to the touch on my card; then the nest made me think of feathers. So I took these out, ripped a piece of striped fabric, made a stickpin, added glitter to paper using a mask, bit of bling, and this cool crackled button...

and feathers made me think of fashion. So I took out my Webster's ladies and gave them some jewels. Frayed some cotton, and deposited them on it.

Then I thought I wanted to duplicate the layers of protection surrounding the eggs, so I made a frame  using various layers of different materials, and some buttons...

And this is the finished card...and the inside ( feathers, fabric, bling and frame elements repeated).

Salut, et à la prochaine....xoxoxo

"My gardens today"

Gardens here in Québec are starting to come alive after being buried under snow for 4 months.
