"Stockings"

I add these stockings for ages...They were attached to a candy cane, and I used to put them up on my tree...I thought they would look cute on a card, so I took them apart, stuffed them and hung them up, put up my mitties to dry LOL .... Easy and quick card....
My husband said the picture does not do it justice; he thought the stockings were flat... and the green glitter is lighter in person....

"Carolers"

So much fun to make; cut out my papers and applied them at an angle; distressed some music sheets and put them under flocked frames.Put some warm scarfs on some of my carolers, as well as some bling on their hats so they would be safe at night. Added a ribbon and made a few bows. Cut out a circle, rubbed it with my mix of mod podge and glimmer,then tripled dipped my N in silver embossing powder. I was not sure if you could do this, so I am very pleased with the outcome.

"Oh, starry, starry Night...." card

Hello, I am on a roll making my x-mas cards. I worked so hard on this one; making all the trees from scratch, embossing some, glittering others, using stringed bling and individual bling, but I am happy with the outcome. Glittering snow hill, button, pleated ribbon ( I love this technique), Then I used Jubilee paper from K and Co. for the first time; this line is gorgeous. I used my edger punch to add scallops, and mod podged it for shine, and my new favorite technique of all SILVER EMBOSSING...
a bit of bling on the paper....and VOILA ....

"Blooming" card

Hello, my latest card....Did some fussy cutting in a piece of material, cut out some K and Company borders ( they made me think of butterflies), cut some paper up, fluffed up my flower, added bling and a charm and VOILA....My favorite color combo at the moment, pink and green....I like the outcome....Did some stamping and embossing for the envelope....

"Tea for two" Card

Hi all, I created this card using the iris folding technique; it takes more time to make, but I adore working with Japanese paper, and I love the outcome of this technique. My best friend lived in Japan for 4 years, and she gave me a boxfull of japanese paper, so I am very lucky. I recently discovered lace, and I thought lace and tea went well together, so I made this flower ( very easy, just put a thread through it and pull); I love the quality of this lace and its yellowish color...The papers are from DCWV, a company I really like. The style is an easel card, which is probably my favorite. The buttons were an amazing b'day gift I received this summer. I did some distressed embossing around the edges. If I had to do this card over, I would use smaller buttons on the inside, and a thinner line of embossing powder....Tea pouch included in the price ! LOL...

"Girlie girl" card

Hi, I wanted to make a quick, simple, girlie card after making 3 manly, rather complicated cards. Also, I am trying to work quicker, and to be more organic in my way of making a card, less planning...So, I dont love this card, no focal point for the eye to rest on, but I did make it quickly, without thinking too much....so, it was a good exercise...

"Timeless Fairy" Card

I was so dying to use this lace....I am really happy with the outcome of this card.
I love the softeness and the mat look to it...My best girlfriend gave me a box full of material demos , so I used some to make my envelope....Some cards are hard to part with.. rare...but this one was....I am really working towards layering, layering, layering...
