Today I had fun making this background; I watered down some acrylic inks, applied to tag, then wrapped in saran wrap and let dry...I just adore the outcome...

 Home made stick pin which I used to make a dragonfly, that gorgeous chair clip art is from
Moonlight Journey, some frayed fabric, lace etc.

Hi peeps, I was playing around with my mists,  and had piece of bark beside me, and I thought:
well, why not...

Then I embossed and colored with micas some butterflies and bird....just fooling around...

On This Day...

Hi Peeps, The Pixie Dust Challenge is a  project for Valentine's day, OR a project with heart(s)...


I am into hearts this week....I made this one with layers of embossing powder and added some pearls and a rose...

Then I made one of my shabby flowers by punching out some scalloped circles from paper, cutting at each scallop, wet the edges, crumbled really well in your hands, then open up gently; I used some lace from my scraps and layered that in.

For the corrugated cardboard I painted, inked, embossed, misted, sponged, glittered....Et Voici...

Bellas Creations also has Valentine in mind, and the card challenge must include a heart...

Broken Hearted...

I am joining the Pretty Little Ribbon Challenge,  again, who's theme is Valentine...

I cut out this tag, did a bit of embossing on it, applied some Tim Holtz Tissue Paper...now for the fun part....I don't have any crackle paint, but love the effect, so I used a tutorial.

I embossed 5-6 layers , using Turquoise Desert Moon From Lyndies Stamp Gang, which is a two tone, and a white, then I put in freezer for 30 minutes. Take it out, crack it by bending your paper, ink the cracks, to emphasize them, by rubbing in the ink, then wipe away the excess.

Love of a Lifetime...

Hello, this is today's little creation :

Sewed two fabrics to tag, one is plain muslin, and the other is this gorgeous cotton with lots of details,  fringed sides, cut out a heart, inked,stamped ,distressed it, then stuffed it. 

Added lace, seam binding, button, ADORE and Love of A lifetime metal pieces..

The flowers are made from gauze that I glimmer misted and added different centers...notice the cute cameo one at the top...

The most beautiful Mini Album...

Hi bloggerettes, I was blessed to receive some lovely cards, tags, and gifties from blogging friends, but this gift completely caught me off guard...It touched me to my very soul. It is an absolute divine x-mas paper bag mini album made by Starr , from the Paper Chase; I will share some of the pics...

I greatly admire Starr's work; feminine without being fussy, detailed oriented, vintage, always the most beautiful flowers and lace....she even does oil painting...and she is the kindest, warmest woman...

 I absolutely love it Starr, I have it on my night table. Thank you for making me feel special...

Love Birds...

I am having so much fun playing with my x-mas gifts. Hubby's Birthday is coming up in a few weeks; I made him a wall hanging. He loves birds, so I used my new Crafter's Companion mask and muslin.

 He likes things simple, so after glimmer misting,  I just added one butterfly...

Wooden beads to hang, beads and a love bird charm ( a gift from Crafty Individuals )

And used a few metal pieces for the sentiment...

Such a gorgeous mask, will definitely play with this often...

Ultra Shabby Wall Hanging...

Hey there, Happy Daze Challenge ask us to use a new technique and or a new stash; I did both.

Inked my paper, stamped with bleach, then glimmer misted. I am really happy with the outcome.

Then used lace, fabric, and gauze (new product which I glimmer misted ) to make my Oh So Shabby
Flower...

Sewed it to a fabric which I received from my extremely generous blogging friend Cathi; used the rest of the gauze to hang...

I am really happy with the result...

Sympathy Card...

Well, it's official, we are now in 2012...WOW...I wanted to make a card for a family friend who passed away.

Inked my paper, sprayed with water, embossed some flowers...

 Used a Prima mask, applied white paint , then inked it up randomly. Added a heart, some pearls, glimmer misted in gold ; a gorgeous vintage doily received from my lovely friend Lynn, at Adorn, was cut and applied to the sides...
