"Le bas de Noël"

I am having so much fun making all the x-mas cards.....Ruffled up a silk ribban; it was the first time I did this and it took me forever because the ribban is large and silky, and I was probably not using the best technique ! Added a string of flowers; one of my girlfriends gave me this from her stash of craft, so I dont know its origins...glued down some beads at the bottom...Border cutting on various papers DCWC paper. Sock, bling, and in the inside I did some silver embossing on the frame and used a sticker that has pears on it, same as the sock...Hope you enjoy it !!!Bye for now...

"Bashful Blue"

Hi there, this is todays card... I am really happy with the outcome of it...
I cut up some silver and gold pieces from a bottle capper, as well as some K and Co. borders for the stars/embellishments, added some bling...I glittered a "I am Roses" flower, and added somes leaves, also from them. Used some DCWV ( one of my favorite paper co.)paper for the slope ( or envelope), silver embossed it, added another K and company embellishsment. I pleated up some beautiful silver ribbon, and cut up some glittered paper for the side. For the inside, I used a Prima mask ( these are really fun and inexpensive, $5 for 5) and silver embossed it....Hope you enjoy it....it has a lot going on, but I think the proportions are good...the only thing I would change is the bling in the top middle of the card....it took for ever to decide what to put there...

"La Croix"

Hello all, this was intentionned as a x-mas card, but my husband and girlfriend said it was beautiful, but was too sober for x-mas...I dont know, I still like it..
I used the K and Co. ( I love this line )borders and added a mix of modpodge and green glitter, added an olive green sheer ribban to it, and bordered that with a slimmer, darker ribbon. I used a Prima chipboard ( i sooo. love these), and added a
k and co. flower in the center. It has a very religious feel to it, which is fine by me....

"Bindis"

Hello there, my latest card. Used different screens from Prima to apply my Martha Stewart glitter ( boy, her colors are incredible, and do they ever sparkle !!!). Cut out a border using my EK success border punch, glued down some Bindis ( indian jewel women put on their forehead),given to my by a girlfriend, glittered some "I am roses" flowers, made somei ivy leaves and silver embossed them, added red tuile, a few silver bullets, and Voila.I love all the individual elements, but there is too much sparkle...oh well, create and learn...
Hugs,,,

"Stockings"

I add these stockings for ages...They were attached to a candy cane, and I used to put them up on my tree...I thought they would look cute on a card, so I took them apart, stuffed them and hung them up, put up my mitties to dry LOL .... Easy and quick card....
My husband said the picture does not do it justice; he thought the stockings were flat... and the green glitter is lighter in person....

"Carolers"

So much fun to make; cut out my papers and applied them at an angle; distressed some music sheets and put them under flocked frames.Put some warm scarfs on some of my carolers, as well as some bling on their hats so they would be safe at night. Added a ribbon and made a few bows. Cut out a circle, rubbed it with my mix of mod podge and glimmer, then tripled dipped my N in silver embossing powder. I was not sure if you could do this, so I am very pleased with the outcome.

"Oh, starry, starry Night...." card

Hello, I am on a roll making my x-mas cards. I worked so hard on this one; making all the trees from scratch, embossing some, glittering others, using stringed bling and individual bling, but I am happy with the outcome. Glittering snow hill, button, pleated ribbon ( I love this technique), Then I used Jubilee paper from K and Co. for the first time; this line is gorgeous. I used my edger punch to add scallops, and mod podged it for shine, and my new favorite technique of all SILVER EMBOSSING...
a bit of bling on the paper....and VOILA ....
